Grade isn't just a score. It tells you how the beans were selected, sorted and cupped. Higher grade means more careful selection, more complex flavour, more work at origin. All three of ours are specialty. The choice is about the kind of cup you want.

Shipping & Refunds Policy

At Café Grato, every delivery is more than a shipment — it's a connection between small Colombian family farms and the coffee lovers who value their craft.

Our shipping process is designed with care, transparency, and flexibility to ensure each bag arrives fresh and full of purpose.

Subscription Deliveries

Café Grato subscriptions are designed for flexibility and freshness. Subscribers can choose between fortnightly or monthly deliveries, with the option to pause, skip, or adjust schedules anytime through their account. Each delivery includes whole roast beans and exclusive access to limited-edition harvest roasts sourced directly from small Colombian farms.

Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. During peak periods, processing may take an additional days.

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

We ship to all Australian states and territories via Australia Post and courier partners.

Standard Shipping

Estimated delivery within 3–7 business days depending on your location. Metro areas typically receive orders within 3–4 business days, while regional and remote areas may take up to 7 business days.

Delivery times may vary depending on location and courier service availability.

Express Shipping

Estimated delivery within 1–3 business days for metro areas. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee.

International Shipping

At this time, Café Grato ships within Australia only. We are working on expanding our shipping options to international destinations in the future. Please check back for updates or contact us for special arrangements within Colombia area.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address. Rates start from $10 for standard delivery. Discounts may apply for subscription orders and stockist partners.

Pre-Orders per harvest

Pre-Orders can enjoy up to 15% discount — conditions apply per quantities and locations.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your parcel via Australia Post or the relevant courier's website.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with you and our shipping partners to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund. Conditions apply.

Address Accuracy

To ensure smooth delivery, verify that all shipping details are correct before confirming an order. Café Grato cannot be held responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

Sustainable Packaging

Our coffees are packed in eco-conscious packaging made from 60% sugarcane paper with a three-layer laminate and one-way degassing valve to preserve freshness while reducing environmental impact.

Returns

We want you to have the ultimate at-home Colombian coffee experience. If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or doesn't match its description or function, we offer a full refund.

Once you receive your product, you have between 2 to 5 business days to request your refund. Please keep your receipt.

Once we receive the returned item, the refund will be applied to your original payment method.

Alternatively, we can exchange the product for a different option if you prefer.
